Hardcore players can damage netting!

NordicCC has confirmed a weakness in the protection net of their SPEED Air Hockey machines. NordicCC`s Reinhard Schloh stated: " Unfortunately we underestimated that under the pressure of prolonged and heavy playing the lower attaching rings on the netting may become loose or deformed." The deformation is shown in the first two pictures. "So far quite a few of our Air hockeys have shown this flaw. On the one hand, we are happy that the machines are played so often and with such gusto but on the other hand, intensive playing sometimes causes wear and tear above and beyond the expected norm."
"Should this defect arise within the first two months then we wil be happy to provide free replacement with a minimum of beaurocracy," added Christina Fischer, responsible for Sales. Mr Fidorra, NordicCC`s chief technical advisor provided an easy and cost effective solution by adding a strong plastic cable tie beneath the lower retaining screw (see last photo). Fidorra added with a wink " Almost every technician has these cable ties in their workbox or store and I`m sure that Reinhard Schloh will reward them appropriately by getting the drinks in!"
